ACFS SHOW PROGRAMMING

The purpose of the American Custom Figure Symposium show is to promote the 1/6 scale and 12-inch action figure hobby. The show not only promotes education of the general public on the various manufacturers, retailers and vendors that are producing such figures, it also encourages and promotes collectors from a wide range of backgrounds - whether you've only recently got into the hobby or whether you've been collecting for a decade. Both older and newer hobbyists alike will agree that there is an endless amount of knowledge and customization to this hobby. We are here to try and bridge that gap and keep the passion alive by offering live tutorials and a wealth of information by industry leaders and hobbyists alike.

Many folks have asked us why we only did a show this big and have it only last one day. Truth is, most show attendees will tell you it only takes about two hours of browsing and wandering around before the fun goes away. Why pay all that money for a show badge when you really only spend a few hours? The ACFS is completely free first of all. Second, we try to make your stay as rewarding and unforgettable as is possible for the short time that you do plan on attending. Whether it's to look at the latest works of a figure artist, chatting with him on how he made that figure, learning a tutorial, purchasing and adding items to your collection, nabbing that ACFS show exclusive figure, or even entering your own works into the various custom figure contests for prizes, you will be surprised by how much there is to do in one day!
