Started in 2007, the American Figure Symposium (ACFS) is an organization of collective action figure enthusiasts dedicated to the art of 12-inch and 1/6 scale action figure customization. Formed by a group of collectors, the ACFS offers tutorials on how to customize 12-inch figures, news, information and reviews on related products and services and offers a unique collector-based magazine and annual event showcasing the fabulous works of established artists.

Our goal is to promote the hobby and enjoyment of collecting and customizing the 1/6 scale hobby. In the past several years, the industry has seen a dramatic boom in 1/6 scale products hitting the mainstream markets. With companies like Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys, Medicom, Enterbay and Triad Toys producing high quality collectibles, new collectors are discovering the art of customization.

With the help and support of the prolific and talented artists here at the ACFS and collectors, we hope to provide as much information and knowledge on this fantastic hobby!
